A new label from Apostolos Thymiopoulos, that diverges from his usual 100% Xinomavro wine, by adding Krassato and Stavroto.
A complex, serious red wine from the big red wine appellation at the slopes of Mt. Olympus adding in the local varietals of Thessaly. The vines range from 15 to 50 years. After harvesting, the grapes are macerated and fermented in steel tanks, and then moved onto oak barrels and aged for 14 months.
Ruby hues with notes of red fruit and dried tomato, as well as tobacco and spices.
This wine still has the Apostolos signature but sets itself apart from the winery's other big reds. Pair this beauty with anything that you would usually pair Barolo or Barbaresco with.
