This wine is made from 100% Mavrodaphne and comes to us from the certified Organic and Biodynamic producer Evriviadis Sclavos, who is the driving force behind the Sclavos winery and one of the pioneers of natural wine production in Greece.
The 50-year-old vines grow at an altitude of 100 metres in the Mediterranean climate, in limestone and clay-rich soil close to the sea. The grapes are harvested in late August and are bottled with no further intervention after vinification.
This complex rosé has a rich aromatic character, balanced acidity and well-rounded aftertaste. It has a light cherry colour, with a nose of red fruit, wild berries and a hint of sweetness, which is also found when tasting.
