Agiorgitiko Rose (Reddish) is a natural light red dry wine with playful, light tannins. Easy to drink and a great alternative to red wine.
The vines grow in the mild Mediterranean climate, with periods of extreme heat in the summer and extremely low temperatures in winter - unusual for southern Greece and the grapes are hand-harvested.
The popular blue Greek Agiorgitiko grapes, used for the Reddish wines, are hand-harvested, and undergo direct press with minimal grape skins contact and free flow fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks, with no filtration or fining, followed by a 3-month stabilization on steel tanks without time on the yeast cells.
The wines have no additives, no filtering and no sulphites added.
Deep rose colour, freshly cut strawberries, and rose forest fruit on the nose, with a medium body and a structured palate — the perfect accompaniment to seafood spaghetti or fried veggies - or for a sunny afternoon in the sun.
