Afianes Wines Pithari Red ØKO

Unique wine of the Fokiano grape, a handmade rarity by family Afianes Wines, foot stomped on granite, vinified & macerated in earthed Pithari [Amphora in Greek] following the thousands-year long tradition of the magical, Blue Zone island of Ikaria.

The color of the red wine is vibrant and light as a rosé. The aroma and taste experience full of red forest berries added white pepper, scented shrubs and a whiff of sea salt. A complex wine with a teasing long taste, a tasting experience not unlike volcanic Nerello Mascalese reds from Sicily.
